Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve the quality of various flooring types.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and courteously.
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly handling cleaning supplies and adhering to health regulations.
- Conduct detailed cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks including inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling cleaning routines for optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and floor care methods.
- Experience with laundry operations and carpet cleaning is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies management.
- Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
