Strader Lawn Services is seeking an experienced Landscape Installer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can complete projects professionally with minimal supervision.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have hands-on experience with landscape installations and be comfortable operating trucks, trailers, equipment, and industry tools. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, all while inspiring and guiding your team to excel. Required Experience (Minimum 2 Years)
Experience with the installation of:
- Artificial Turf
- Mulch Installation
- Decorative Rock & Stone
- Sod Installation
- Soil Grading & Preparation
- Landscape Renovations
- Drainage Solutions (preferred)
- Landscape Bed Installation
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer safely
- Minimum of 2 years of professional landscape installation experience
- Experience operating landscape equipment and power tools
- Ability to read and follow work orders and project scopes
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Provide project updates, concerns, and material needs throughout the day
- Represent the company professionally on job sites

Responsibilities
- Install artificial turf systems from start to finish
- Install mulch, rock, sod, edging, and landscape materials
- Operate compactors, saws, power equipment, and hand tools
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Assist with material pickups and deliveries
- Ensure projects are completed to company quality standards
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape installers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Oversee landscape installation projects including planting, sod laying, hardscaping, irrigation setup, and tree care
- Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Maintain quality control by inspecting work sites regularly and providing constructive feedback
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to create a secure working environment
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, pruning, mulching, and gardening tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met and expectations exceeded
