We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Smoke Shop Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our shop—welcoming customers, guiding them through our product selection, and maintaining a clean, organized store.
The ideal candidate has a friendly attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. While knowledge of our inventory (glassware, vaporizers, e-liquids, and traditional tobacco products) is a major plus, we are fully willing to train the right person if they have great customer service skills.
Responsibilities & Duties
Customer Service: Greet every customer with a welcoming attitude, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on products.
Compliance: Strictly verify customer identification to ensure compliance with all state and federal age restriction laws (21+).
Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently operate the cash register, process cash and card transactions, and accurately count down the drawer at the start/end of shifts.
Inventory Management: Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with inventory counts to ensure the floor is always fully stocked and looking sharp.
Store Upkeep: Maintain a clean, clean, and safe store environment by sweeping, dusting glass cases, and taking out the trash.
Security & Awareness: Maintain visual awareness of the sales floor to assist customers and prevent loss.
Qualifications & Skills
Availability: Must have open availability to work weekends.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent, on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts.
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (required for handling age-restricted products).
Experience: 1+ years of retail sales or cashier experience is preferred, but not required.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with vapes, e-liquids, functional glass/, and tobacco accessories is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong basic math skills for handling cash, excellent verbal communication, and a reliable track record for punctuality.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 10 lbs for restocking shipments.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
