Position Summary:
The Hospitality Lead works closely with the Hospitality Manager to oversee front-of-house operations, support event execution, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences. The Hospitality Lead also works closely with the Chef/Food & Beverage Manager to ensure customer needs and kitchen staff capabilities remain aligned for smooth and efficient service.
The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality, event planning, or restaurant management, along with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in managing day-to-day guest-facing operations, including Wisconsin Café, Conference Center, Farmhouse Store, and Ice Cream Acres.
· Lead and support front-of-house staff through scheduling, training, and daily supervision.
· Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently maintained.
· Support event logistics including setup, execution, and breakdown.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during assigned events.
· Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest-facing spaces.
· Assist with supply ordering and operational inventory management.
· Oversee Farmhouse Store and Ice Cream Acres operations, including merchandising, retail inventory, and product ordering.
· Support administrative tasks such as reporting, invoicing, and internal communication.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, events, or food & beverage
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or POS systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with banquet service or front of house management
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Supervisory or management experience
