Overview

Duties
- Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers across designated routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Load cargo securely on flatbeds or tankers, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safety standards.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during route driving and delivery operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly preferred.
- Proven truck driving experience with knowledge of freight handling, route planning, and delivery procedures.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment such as forklifts or hand tools.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation.
