We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist/Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC machines, including lathes and milling centers, to produce precision components according to detailed blueprints and specifications. You will also be responsible for assembling parts, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining equipment to optimize production efficiency. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls or similar systems.
- Program CNC machines utilizing CAM programming software and adjust parameters to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and engineering specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.
- Conduct electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes when required for complex or hard materials.
- Assemble machined components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and tooling while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, and document production activities accurately.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code editing and CAM software such as SolidWorks or other CAD/CAM tools.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with Fanuc controls or similar systems.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques for precision part fabrication.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus.
- Ability to read basic math measurements accurately and apply them in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with assembly processes involving power tools, welding techniques, and quality inspection procedures.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement in production workflows.

Pay: $19.50 - $32.00 per hour
