<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within diverse clinical settings. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences by providing comprehensive clinical assistance and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
<Duties>
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including recording medical histories and vital signs to facilitate accurate assessments.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist with procedures such as X-ray imaging, medication administration, and basic life support when necessary.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans accurately.
- Support inpatient and outpatient services across various specialties including dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, and emergency medicine.
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-procedure care to promote understanding and compliance.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as collecting specimens, performing basic physiology assessments, and assisting with surgical or procedural setups
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient service.
Pay: $18.50 - $25.39 per hour
