Arctic Breeze is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We’re looking for a dependable, technically skilled professional who takes pride in diagnosing issues accurately, solving problems efficiently, and delivering excellent customer service.
This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting abilities who enjoys working independently, communicating clearly with homeowners, and ensuring systems are operating safely and effectively.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues using proper diagnostic procedures and tools.
- Repair or replace defective components including motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, controls, and electrical components.
- Test system operations and verify proper functionality after repairs are completed.
- Educate homeowners on system condition, maintenance recommendations, and repair options.
- Maintain accurate service records, notes, and documentation for each call.
- Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and local code requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide excellent customer service on every job.
- Work collaboratively with dispatch, management, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing a variety of HVAC systems and equipment.
- EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus.
- Ability to read gauges, meters, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
