Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Assist with the organization of clean dishes and ensure proper storage to prevent contamination.
- Support kitchen staff by helping with basic food preparation tasks when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in various roles within the kitchen.
- Basic understanding of culinary operations is a plus; familiarity with bussing and cleaning procedures is beneficial.
