Full time Position Lead.
*On call required 1 week out of the month*
Day and Evening Shifts availability required.
Availability During One Weekend May Be Required.
We are seeking a Team- Oriented individual who enjoys working closely with others.
Strong understanding of Mental Health and behavioral support, with creativity and enthusiasm for engaging residents in meaningful activities.
SUPERVISION OF RESIDENTS
1. Provide direct supervision and support to youth and staff.
2. Implement behavior intervention strategies and support individualized treatment goal.
3. Plan and Lead daily activities and outings.
4. Monitor behaviors , document progress, communicate updates with the team.
5. Actively Manage and de- escalate challenging behaviors.
6. Maintain consistent routines and structure within the home.
7. Responding to staff requests for assistance during escalated situations help stabilize the environment.
ACTIVITIES
1. Develop activities monthly calendar according to residents choices and psychoeducation groups.
2. Plan for the purchase of required activity and group supplies.
3. Chaperone activities in the community as needed.
4. Create engaging programming that keeps the residents active and involved.
5. On Call Requirement: Employees in this position are required to be on call one week per month, providing support and coverage as needed.
DIRECT SERVICES
1. Provide direct support and care for residents.
2. Relate to the residents in a supportive manner.
3. Facilitate psycho-educational groups.
4. Provide support to staff to lead psychoeducation groups.
5. Provide incentives for positive behavior reinforcement.
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT
Hours and days shall be scheduled according to the needs of the program. It is mainly day and sometimes evening shifts.
On Call as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Two years of professional experience working with children one year of which must have been in a residential facility for children;
- A high school diploma or a General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.) and a minimum of five years professional experience working with children with at least two years in a residential facility for children; or
- A combination of education and experience working with children as approved by the department.
- Possess the ability to supervise
- Be flexible and reliable
- Be energetic
- Have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
REQUIREMENTs
- Must become certified in Medication Management
- Must become certified in Therapeutic Behavior Management
- Background Check required
- official educational transcripts awarded.
- Weekends required
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
