Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, including meats, vegetables, and seafood, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Follow detailed recipes and menu specifications to deliver exceptional meals that meet customer expectations.
- Operate grilling equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining proper temperature controls for optimal food quality.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and preparation techniques for grilled items.
- Support food production processes during high-volume periods, ensuring timely meal service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, serving, and plating for both dine-in and catering events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Proven culinary experience with a focus on grilling techniques such as braising, poaching, and food preparation.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety protocols are essential.
- Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food storage.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
