Job Summary:**
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a motivated and reliable Laborer for our Renewables team at the Dolet Hills project site. This role involves performing essential manual labor tasks to support the construction and maintenance of renewable energy infrastructure, without the requirement of operating company vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks, including but not limited to, material handling, site preparation, and equipment support.
- Perform general site cleanup and maintenance to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Dig trenches, clear vegetation, and grade land as instructed.
- Load and unload materials and equipment manually or using basic hand tools.
- Operate small hand tools and power tools as needed, under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to a supervisor promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.
Job Qualifications:**
- Prior experience in a construction or industrial setting is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Dolet Hills project site.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is a plus.
