Job Title: AV TechnicianJob Description
We are looking for a skilled AV Technician to provide hands‑on operational support for Audio‑Visual systems across meeting rooms, conference spaces, and office environments. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, break‑fix support, and daily AV operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for Audio‑Visual systems in conference rooms, training rooms, and common areas
- Install, configure, test, and support AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control panels
- Troubleshoot audio, video, and connectivity issues (no sound, display issues, camera problems, etc.)
- Support video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Webex, etc.)
- Perform break‑fix, preventive maintenance, and routine health checks of AV systems
- Handle user support requests during meetings, presentations, and live events
- Configure and support wired and wireless AV solutions
- Coordinate with IT, network, and facilities teams for issue resolution
- Maintain documentation, update tickets, and follow operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with AV standards, safety, and best practices
Required Experience
- 3–7 years of experience as an AV Technician or AV Support role
- Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise or corporate AV environments

- Cabling and AV Rack Equipment
Operational & Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Customer‑focused support mindset
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced support environment
- Team collaboration and coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- AVIXA certification (CTS / CTS‑I / CTS‑D) – a plus
- Experience supporting executive meetings and live events
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, etc.)
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to HCL policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to HCL policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off (PTO) per year (some positions are eligible for unlimited PTO); and 10 paid holidays per year.
