Job Scope: The Field Engineer will serve as the primary on-site liaison between the construction team and engineering. The individual must be capable of independently managing the flow of technical information between disciplines, tracking drawing status, and ensuring that field questions are resolved in a timely manner. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between field construction crews and the engineering team.

Review and interpret construction drawings, including the ability to distinguish between Issued for Construction (IFC) documents and earlier revision stages.

Track and manage drawings that are being issued during active execution, ensuring the field is always working from the correct and most current revision.

Initiate, track, and prioritize Requests for Information (RFIs), identifying which are critical-path items and escalating accordingly.

Communicate drawing and RFI status clearly to both field supervision and engineering staff.

Support general construction coordination activities as needed on site.
Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
Registration: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
