American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital, requiring open heart surgery and vascular case circulating experience.

Works in a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) at a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center
-
Patient population includes those with peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, peripheral artery disease, carotid disease, coronary artery disease, valve disease, and aortic dissections

Specialized procedures include angiograms, aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, open AAA, and TAVR
-
Experience working in a hybrid OR room required

Charting performed in Cerner EMR
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-
Patient ratio is 1:1
-
Every third weekend required (approximately 4 weekend shifts per contract)

On-call required on an as-needed basis
-
No floating outside of the CVOR
-
Scrubs are provided by the facility
-
Active FL RN license or compact RN license — pending licenses not accepted

Minimum 1 year of CVOR RN experience required

Vascular and cardiac OR experience required
-
Ability to circulate open heart surgeries and vascular cases

ACLS certification preferred
-
Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
-
Circulates open heart surgeries and vascular cases in a hybrid OR environment
-
