Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including specialty pizzas, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver visually appealing meals
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders and maintaining a positive attitude
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, especially with pizza or similar dishes
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with menu planning and meal assembly in a culinary or catering context is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
