Position Description: Under general supervision, but in line with established policies and procedures, this employee provides a variety of service functions, including, but not limited to, processing savings account, checking account and loan transactions, cashing checks, and selling money orders and cashier’s checks. All employees positively contribute to the success of Shelby State Bank by assisting fellow team members and branches. This employee may answer phones, process mail received, maintain account records, and cross-sell services. The employee is responsible for balancing each day’s transactions and verifying cash totals at the end of the day.
Supports the Bank's BSA/AML compliance efforts by remaining alert to unusual or suspicious activity and adhering to related policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
