Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation is Hiring a Multimedia Technician
Role Description: Granite Peak UUC is seeking a dependable, creative, and technically skilled Multimedia Technician to support our Sunday worship services and special events. Must be experienced to apply.
Status: Contract position, minimum 4 hours per week, 3 to 3 & 1/2 on Sunday, minimum prep work during the week.
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Supervisor: Reports directly to the Minister.
Education:
● High school graduate
● Courses in video or comparable experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate sound, projection, and livestream systems during worship services.
- Prepare and display presentation slides, music, and videos.
- Monitor audio quality for both in-person and online participants.
- Assist with recording worship services and other church events.
- Troubleshoot multimedia equipment and help maintain AV systems.
- Work collaboratively with ministers, musicians, worship leaders, and volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Experience with audio/visual equipment and livestreaming.
- Familiarity with presentation software (such as PowerPoint or ProPresenter) and basic video production.
- Ability to remain calm and solve technical issues quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Availability on Sunday mornings and occasional evenings or special events.
