This is a FT position M-F. No nights/weekend/holidays. Holidays are paid!!!

- Enforced rigid adherence to AORN perioperative standards and infection control protocols, maintaining a 0% surgical site infection (SSI) rate across primary assigned cases.
- Perform meticulous multi-person surgical counts (sponges, sharps, instruments) pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, resulting in zero retained surgical item (RSI) incidents..
Operating Room Management & Workflow
- Coordinate real-time room flow, equipment setup, and sterile field maintenance for all cases performed.
- Manage intraoperative care for high-acuity patients, anticipating surgeon needs and troubleshooting specialized equipment under pressure to reduce room turnover times.
- Accurately documented patient assessments, medications, positioning, and surgical timelines in HST eChart with zero compliance audit findings.
Crisis Response & Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub techs to execute rapid-response protocols during emergency events.
- Facilitate seamless patient hand-offs to PACU using standardized SBAR communication, ensuring accurate transfer of intraoperative findings, procedure performed and any complications.
