Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the optimal upkeep of managed rental units. This energetic role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, from landscape care, sheetrock repair, painting, and trim work, all aimed at creating a safe, attractive, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for independent work, strong mechanical skills, and a passion for excellence.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to maintain aesthetic appeal and health of gardens and lawns
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, excavators, and tree trimmers with safety and precision
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Use hand and power tools to perform all aspects of interior and exterior finishes.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around the property
- Follow all safety procedures diligently while handling equipment or performing outdoor/indoor tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Proven outdoor work experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping roles
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, landscaping equipment, and irrigation systems
- Construction experience is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or similar equipment is desirable
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to work environments
- Being organized and self motivated is required.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
