Driver Operations Manager / Logistics Supervisor
Schedule: Friday–Monday
Start Time: 5:00 AM
On-Site Time: Approximately 2–3 hours each morning, with remote availability afterward
Team Size: 10–40 Delivery Drivers
Compensation: Performance-Based — Pay Increases With Delivery Volume
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Driver Operations Manager to oversee our package delivery drivers and morning warehouse operations.
This is a performance-based position. The more packages your drivers successfully deliver, the more you earn. As the operation grows and you successfully manage more drivers and delivery volume, your earning potential increases.
The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, package delivery, logistics, dispatch, or driver management and knows how to keep a fast-paced delivery operation organized and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Arrive before drivers at 5:00 AM and prepare morning operations.
Manage and supervise approximately 10–40 delivery drivers.
Make sure scheduled drivers arrive on time and are ready to work.
Keep the warehouse fast-moving and organized.
Assist drivers with loading and dispatch when necessary.
Goal is to have all drivers loaded and out of the warehouse within 2 hours or less.
Monitor attendance, delivery performance, reliability, and driver issues.
Provide a daily driver performance and operations report to the manager.
Hire, interview, onboard, train, and retain qualified drivers.
Address driver issues and immediately communicate important problems to management.
Make sure all returned packages are properly scanned, accounted for, and cleared from the system.
Follow up on returns, missing packages, attendance issues, and operational problems.
Remain available remotely after morning dispatch when driver or delivery issues require assistance.
Maintain direct and consistent communication with management.
Compensation & Growth
This position is designed to reward performance.
Your pay is connected to the number of packages successfully delivered by the drivers you manage.
As your team grows from 10 drivers toward 20, 30, or 40 drivers — and overall successful delivery volume increases — your compensation increases with it.
The better you manage the operation, the more packages the team successfully delivers, and the more you can earn.
Requirements
Experience in logistics, package delivery, warehouse operations, dispatch, or driver management preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage 10–40 drivers.
Experience interviewing, hiring, training, and retaining employees or contractors.
Must have access to a laptop and smartphone.
Comfortable using delivery apps, spreadsheets, messaging platforms, and computer systems.
Must reliably start at 5:00 AM Friday through Monday.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and report directly to management.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment.
What Success Looks Like
Your priority is getting the entire delivery team organized, loaded, and out of the warehouse as quickly as possible — ideally within 2 hours or less.
The earlier your drivers are successfully dispatched, the earlier your on-site responsibilities are completed.
After dispatch, most responsibilities can be handled remotely. You will remain responsible for driver communication, delivery issues, returns, performance monitoring, and reporting to management.
More drivers + more successful deliveries = higher earning potential.
Pay: $200.00 - $500.00 per day
Work Location: In person
