We're seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established team following the relocation of one of our hygienists. Our practice is proud of its exceptional employee retention—one hygienist has been with us for over 30 years, and another for more than 3 years—because we believe in supporting our team just as much as we support our patients.
We are especially interested in candidates who currently live in Mount Pleasant, SC, or within approximately a 10-mile radius, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work close to home while becoming part of a long-standing local practice.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and preventive care
- Complete adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling as needed
- Perform efficient and accurate periodontal charting
- Take high-quality digital dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
- Build trust and lasting relationships with patients of all ages
- Accurately document patient records and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Hygienist experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Strong clinical skills in dental radiographs and periodontal charting
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented personality
- Professional attitude with a strong work ethic
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus but not required—we're happy to train
- Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) and Local Infiltration certifications are preferred but not required
- Must currently reside in Mount Pleasant, SC, or within approximately a 10-mile commuting distance, or be willing to relocate to the area
