Description:
Responsible for supporting customer accounts through coordination of manufacturing orders, inventory management, scheduling support, and customer communication. This role serves as a primary point of contact between customers and internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, inventory control, and timely information flow.
Requirements:
- Receive manufacturing orders and enter them into the MRP system
- Review customer purchase orders and applicable terms
- Assist with production scheduling activities
- Coordinate with customers to ensure raw materials are available for production runs in a timely manner
- Create and maintain bills of materials within the MRP system
- Coordinate with production and quality personnel to ensure product formulas and inspection plans are received prior to production runs
- Issue inventory transactions in the MRP system and perform required material consumption transactions
- Bill and invoice customer orders as applicable
- Calculate production yields
- Prepare and distribute daily and monthly production reports as required
- Utilize customer MRP systems, such as SAP, when applicable
- Complete customer physical inventories and maintain customer inventory records
- Communicate inventory data and status information to customers as required
- Complete required filing and documentation for customer accounts
- Compile consumption and inventory reporting data
- Perform cycle counts
- Coordinate customer shipment requirements in conjunction with the warehouse team
- Coordinate proper customer material storage within warehouse areas
- Attend and participate in customer meetings, audits, and conference calls as required
- Maintain open communication with customers to ensure timely exchange of scheduling, inventory, and production information
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Skills & Knowledge:
Experience:
MRP systems and inventory management principles- Computer proficiency, including data entry and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact diplomatically with customers and internal teams
- Time management and organizational skills
- Strong reasoning skills with the ability to analyze data, identify issues, and draw valid conclusions
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting customer accounts, inventory, or production coordination
