We are looking to add a Professional Handyman to our team at Mr. Handyman Norwich, New London, and Glastonbury. We are locally owned and operated with the backing of a national franchise. This role is being offered in a full time capacity as a W-2 employee, not a subcontractor. We are licensed and insured. We provide home improvement services throughout 50+ zip codes in Southeastern Connecticut, both residential and commercial.
Your Responsibilities as a Professional Handyman:
· Completing a variety of maintenance & repairs - No day is the same - jobs vary from small to large. Each project length will be different, ranging from 1 hour to multiple days.
· Accurately estimate project scopes, source and manage materials, and execute work to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and within budget.
· Maintain a professional, clean, and courteous presence, serving as a reliable point of contact for homeowners to address questions and ensure total client satisfaction.

Job Requirements as a Handyman Professional:
· Must be willing to drive up to an hour for jobs
· Have a minimum 8+ years’ experience as a paid professional in home improvement and commercial maintenance/repairs.
· Own your own tools
· Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for driving our vehicle
· Complete a background and driving record check
· Ability to lift 50lbs independently
· Ability to safely work at heights or different positions for extended periods of time
· Professional appearance and maintenance of company assets
· Knowledge and familiarity of local and state building codes
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to meet expected deadlines
· Ability to accurately estimate jobs
· Positive, motivated character and professional appearance
· Excellent communication skills
