Summary/Objective:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our growing team. This role is key in ensuring our custom-designed Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers are efficiently applied to apparel and that orders are accurately picked, staged, and ready for fulfillment. You will be responsible for prepping orders, operating heat press machines, and ensuring that all items are staged for shipping with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Order Fulfillment & Staging:
- Pick and prepare apparel orders based on customer specifications and order details.
- Accurately sort and organize garments by size, color, and design for each order.
- Ensure all garments and transfers are properly staged and ready for pressing, with attention to detail on order accuracy.
Heat Press Operation:
- Operate heat press machines to apply custom DTF transfers onto garments.
- Follow specific instructions for heat pressing, including temperature, pressure, and time settings for different fabrics.
- Inspect finished products to ensure the design placement and quality meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot any issues during the pressing process, such as misalignment or defects in the transfer.
Order Packaging & Workflow:
- Assist with folding and packaging finished products to prepare them for shipping.
- Collaborate with the quality check team to ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient production area by ensuring all equipment, garments, and transfers are properly stored and accessible.
- Track and manage workflow to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience with apparel production, heat pressing, or similar tasks in a print-on-demand or production environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and meet daily goals.
- Basic knowledge of heat pressing equipment or willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 30 lbs].
- Basic knowledge of English language for training and direction purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with DTF transfers, screen printing, or other garment decoration methods.
- Experience in a production or warehouse environment with order fulfillment responsibilities.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
