Paul House & Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Director of Social Services to join our leadership team. This role plays an essential part in supporting residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams while helping create a positive, resident-centered environment throughout the facility.
The Director of Social Services is responsible for overseeing social service programs, supporting resident well-being, and ensuring effective communication between residents, families, and care teams. Planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing social service programs within the facility
Supervising and supporting Social Services staff
Assisting with care planning and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely
Supporting residents and families through admissions, transitions, and discharge planning
Serving as a liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Assisting with resident concerns, grievances, and psychosocial needs
Maintaining compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
Promoting a respectful, compassionate, and supportive resident environment
Master’s Degree in a social service-related field
Previous long-term care or healthcare experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
