Position Summary:
This role is a hybrid of driving and hands-on warehouse support. This position is responsible for transporting materials between the Weymouth and Rockland facilities, while also playing a key role in inventory management and point-of-use distribution on the production floor.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Transportation: Complete two daily transport runs to the Rockland facility, including a scheduled stop at the corporate offices.

Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload inventory at all stops, ensuring materials are secured to prevent damage during transit.

Material Handling: Manage inventory at the Weymouth facility, including moving materials from the warehouse directly to their designated “point of use” on the production floor.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working order; report and maintenance needs immediately.

Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and shipment verifications.

Warehouse Support: Assist with organizing inventory and general warehouse operations as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:

Proven experience operating a box truck or large commercial vehicle.

Valid driver’s license required. CDL is not required but is considered a major plus.

Must have a clean driving record. Background check and driving record approval are required prior to hire.

Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy inventory and operating material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)

Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and facility managers.

Physical Requirements:
Required to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Combination of Manufacturing and Office environment. Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors.
