Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Bilingual Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the front office. The ideal candidate has experience in a medical or behavioral health clinic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced.
Responsabilities
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Check patients in and out and complete intake procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for clinicians.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Collect co-pays and payments and issue receipts.
- Maintain accurate patient records in AccuMed.
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
- Assist with provider schedules and daily clinic operations.
- Arrange patient transportation and maintain required documentation.
- Handle filing, faxing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow clinic policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
- High school diploma or Associate degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of front desk or receptionist experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; EMR/AccuMed experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work Saturdays as scheduled.
