American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Monday-Friday day shift position, requiring 1+ years of experience and GE equipment proficiency, with first-time travelers accepted.

Low-volume hospital setting requiring independent work as the sole NMT on shift

May float to outpatient center and another nearby facility

5x8 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
-
Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends required
-
Post-shift and weekend call are optional
-
Holiday call is required

Preferred experience in teaching and community hospital settings

Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Uses GE equipment
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required

BLS certification required
-
NMTCB or CNMT certification accepted

GE equipment experience required
-
CA license must be in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable

Skills required include bone scans, whole body imaging, shunt studies, cardiac stress testing (Adenosine, Persantine, Pharmacological, Thallium), SPECT imaging, thyroid studies, renal studies, and lung scans

Preferred skills include brain, liver, and renal SPECT imaging, sestamibi parathyroid scans, I-123 uptake scans, and PET scan experience

Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs required

Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials required

2 references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required

Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays

LA fire card completed within the last 30 days required

First-time travelers accepted

Small team environment requiring independent practice

Candidates must disclose any license or background check hits at time of submission

Former Providence permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period if outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are considered local

Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate

Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed

RTO must be submitted at time of consideration to avoid delays in offer approval
