Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately, including OpenTable reservations when applicable
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including culinary ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions confidently
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation enhances your suitability for this role
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
