We are conducting customer research for an early-stage software company focused on improving workflows within the industrial distribution industry.
This is not a sales call and not a recruiting opportunity.
We are seeking current or former professionals who have worked in industrial distribution and have firsthand experience with quoting, RFQs, ERP systems, customer service, sales, purchasing, or related workflows.
The interview will last approximately 15 –20 minutes and will be conducted remotely via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
Participants will be compensated $35 upon completion.
Ideal Background:
Experience at an industrial distributor such as:
- Grainger
- Motion Industries
- Applied Industrial Technologies
- Fastenal
- MSC Industrial Supply
- Martin Supply
- Vallen
- SunSource
- Kimball Midwest
- OR similar industrial distributors
Responsibilities:
- Participate in one virtual interview
- Share your experience working in industrial distribution
- Discuss quoting workflows, RFQs, ERP systems, and customer interactions
- Provide honest feedback about everyday operational challenges
Qualifications:
Current or former experience in one or more of the following:
- Inside Sales
- Outside Sales
- Sales Management
- Customer Service
- Quotations
- Applications Engineering
- Purchasing
- Branch Management
- Operations
Experience with ERP systems such as Prophet 21, Epicor Eclipse, SAP, Infor, NetSuite, or similar is helpful but not required.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
