Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and food prep stations with safety and precision
- Manage customer orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash and card payments
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas, dining spaces, and equipment
- Assist with bussing tables, organizing supplies, and supporting overall restaurant operations to enhance guest experience
Experience
- Previous food service experience in quick service or fast food is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions is helpful.
- Handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment is reqiured.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is essential
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately
- Prior kitchen or café experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
