Wing Snob is one of the fastest-growing wing concepts in the country, known for serving fresh, never-frozen wings with exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Assistant Manager to help lead our team and ensure our restaurant operates efficiently every day.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the team while helping oversee daily operations, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Lead shifts and ensure smooth operations from open to close.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve guest concerns.
- Train, coach, and motivate team members.
- Hold employees accountable to company policies and performance standards.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and food safety standards are consistently met.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior.
- Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and minimizing food waste.
- Help manage labor during shifts and assign responsibilities to team members.
- Ensure dine-in, carryout, online, and delivery orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Step in wherever needed, including cashier, food preparation, packing orders, or assisting the kitchen during busy periods.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous 1+ year restaurant or customer service experience required.
- Leadership or supervisor experience required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Willing to work evenings, some weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Food Manager Certification is a plus or willingness to obtain one.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout each shift.
