RESIDENT MANAGER POSITION
This Role is at a location which is a fully fenced and gated facility with an apartment for the manager on site. (Utilities are included).
Our Resident Manager will: guide tenants in Rental process. Providing tenants assistance with their self storage needs, by outlining the convenience and security features and access available.
Learn industry specific software and how to use it to track inventory, minimize delinquency, and manage property maintenance and occupancy.
Check rental spaces for locks and inspect the grounds daily for potential issues.
Control access to facility, utilizing Gate access software.
Respond to inquiries regarding storage and demonstrate the capacity to help customers in their effort to rent storage units.
Get Web reviews- ask customers to tell people how wonderful they thought your storage units were online!
Keep the property clean, and help people with set up and details of moving in or out. Tenants may also be transferring or getting additional space when needed but it is called Self Storage for a reason; You don't move their goods, they do it themselves.
Taking payments, checking unit lock status, selling merchandise such as locks are also daily tasks.
Other details on duties: Checking email for customer contacts, follow up with past due or vacating tenants and keeping an eye on the property for needed repairs, or inconveniences to customers are all aspects of property management.
We are seeking the presence of a person who is hands on and motivated to keep the facility curb appeal raised above the line. You don't need experience in Self Storage but we will be glad to hear about it if you do.
You will need to pass a background and credit check, and be able to handle walking on the property, driving a golf cart and general bending, sweeping and reaching to maintain cleanliness on the property. Computer competency is required. As is a positive attitude and willingness to help people.

Pay: $34,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
