Join a contractor supporting a major shutdown and expansion project at a manufacturing facility in Leipsic, OH. This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety during demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit work, crane operations, material handling, and facility expansion activities within a fast-paced industrial construction environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction safety professional who thrives during shutdown projects and enjoys working alongside multiple trades while maintaining a strong field presence.
OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510 Certification
3+ years of construction safety experience
Manufacturing facility construction or shutdown experience
Mechanical construction experience
Demolition project experience
Experience supporting crane and rigging operations
CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

Oversee daily safety activities throughout all phases of the shutdown and expansion project

Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Monitor demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit, and mechanical construction activities

Support crane operations, rigging activities, and material handling operations

Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements

Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation

Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans

Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
-
Partner with field supervision and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate hazards

Promote a positive safety culture across all project activities
