We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our daycare team. This individual will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the unique needs of two-year-olds and has a passion for early childhood education.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum that align with developmental milestones for two-year-olds

Create a warm and positive classroom environment that promotes trust, exploration, and learning

Establish consistent routines and structure to support children’s sense of security

Monitor and document children's progress and behavior, communicating regularly with parents and guardians
-
Maintain open and professional communication with families, addressing concerns and sharing updates

Provide responsive caregiving, including assisting with potty training, diaper changes, meals, and rest time
-
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom that complies with licensing regulations and health standards

Collaborate with coworkers and support team efforts across the center

Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and participate in center-wide events and initiatives
-
Uphold the center’s values, mission, and policies at all times
-
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Knowledge of early childhood development, positive discipline, and toddler care best practices

Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and be active with children throughout the day
