Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Front Office Assistant/Referral Specialist at Kidfixers Pediatrics in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves the following responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments
- Manage phone calls
- Verify patient insurances
- Prepare outgoing patient referrals
- Obtain prior authorizations with insurance companies
- Assist office staff with administrative tasks to ensure the front office operates smoothly
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical office software
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role, familiarity with Phreesia
- Spanish speaking is a plus
