Position: Full-Time Experienced Dough Production Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide range of dough with a strong emphasis on bread loaves, bagels, and baguettes.
- Perform duties with precision, including mixing, folds, shaping, and maintaining ingredient integrity.
- Prep all inclusion ingredients and be precise in measurements .
- Execute dough and proofing schedules for consistent, high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Assist with seasonal bread development and testing.
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional bakery experience, with substantial hands-on dough experience.
- Strong understanding of dough handling, temperature control, and fermentation specific to sourdough.
- Skilled in loaves, bagels, and other products with consistency.
- Ability to work morning shifts and manage tight production timelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to visual and flavor quality.
- Creative mindset with ability to support new item development.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and strong work ethic.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
