We are a small close-knit group that comes back year after year. Join our family-owned seasonal restaurant and ice cream business as an Assistant Manager. We operate for approximately 6 months each year, but offer pay distributed over 12 months, giving you steady income year-round while enjoying extended time off during the offseason.
Compensation
- Earn $30,000–$40,000+ (for the right candidate/s) in 6 months!
- Compensation can be significantly higher depending on your availability, willingness to work additional hours, and overall contribution to the business
What You’ll Do
- Open and close the business
- Supervise and lead a primarily teenage staff
- Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations during busy service periods
- Maintain a positive team environment
- Assist with scheduling, training, and daily management responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
- Responsible, reliable, and self-motivated
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently
- Weekend availability is required
- Availability beginning in March is required to assist with preseason setup, hiring, training, and opening preparations
- Food service experience is a plus, but not required
