We are searching a hard-working, personable Medical Assistant in our Suttons Bay, MI office. This position would require that the candidate is able to travel between other clinic locations to help with coverage. Good transportation is a MUST have! Mileage Reimbursement is available. Base wage is $16.50 with ADDITIONAL compensation applied to those meeting experience, certification, and/or educational criteria. REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be dependable, have reliable transportation and have a willing attitude. Candidates should be detail orientated with a focus on quality and customer service and have computer skills. JOB DETAILS: As a part of our team, you will enjoy working directly with other healthcare staff to prepare patient exam rooms, start patient visits, review medical history, take vitals, update and maintain electronic medical records, assist with office procedures, problem solve with patients in person and over the phone and ensure timely follow through for orders, referrals and prior authorizations for our patients.
