Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information. Responsibilities
- Enter and update data into databases, ERP systems, and spreadsheets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage data collection from multiple sources, verifying information for completeness and correctness.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, to organize, analyze, and document data.
- Perform data entry tasks such as order processing, transcription, and filing while maintaining confidentiality.
- Create and maintain pivot tables, perform Excel data analysis, and develop reports to support operational needs.
- Handle administrative duties including filing, document management, and maintaining organized records.
- Ensure timely completion of data entry tasks to support business operations and customer service efforts.
- Assist with basic math calculations related to data verification or order processing as needed.
- Support team members by providing accurate data for decision-making and operational workflows.
Experience
- Proven clerical or office experience with a focus on data entry or administrative support.
- Familiarity with database systems, spreadsheets (especially Excel), and productivity software such as Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with ERP systems or enterprise resource planning software is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong typing skills with a minimum of 10-key typing proficiency; experience in transcription is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of data collection methods, order entry procedures, and office procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles that require precise data handling is desirable.
