About Girls Preparatory School
The mission of Girls Preparatory School (GPS) is to inspire each girl to lead a life of integrity and purpose by engaging her mind, cultivating her strengths, and nurturing her self-confidence and respect for others. Currently, 130 faculty and staff serve approximately 500 girls in grades 6-12 with a college preparatory curriculum that includes a full complement of courses in the humanities, STEM, the arts, and more, as well as a rich and varied cocurricular program.

Position Summary
The successful candidate will show the ability to provide leadership, organization, and supervision of the GPS softball program. This individual will be responsible for providing direction, instruction, and supervision to female student athletes, so they achieve a high level of skill and an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assists with plans and set-up for activities, practices, and interscholastic contests. Drives activity vehicle to all practices. Drives or rides with student athletes on the team vehicle to and from all games.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree Required

A minimum of two (2) years coaching secondary softball, preferably female student-athletes, or playing softball at the collegiate level

Knowledge of NFHS and TSSAA Rules for softball
