We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and cashiers to ensure smooth service flow
- Train new team members in food handling, customer service protocols, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and food safety procedures
- Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high standards of hospitality and efficiency
- Oversee customer interactions to resolve complaints promptly and ensure a positive dining experience
- Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, including POS terminals, menus, and service ware
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform cash handling duties during shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food presentation, timing, and quality assurance for both casual dining and fine dining experiences
- Scheduling front of house staff members
Skills
- Proven management experience in high volume full service restaurant environments with a focus on hospitality management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams through training & development initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, food safety management, and food handling best practices
- Experience with Toast POS system or other similar systems; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor
- Ability to supervise multiple responsibilities including shift management, inventory control, training and coaching staff members
- Familiarity with managing hospitality teams in diverse settings such as dining, banquet events, catering services, or takeout orders
- Strong organizational skills for managing food production schedules, food safety compliance, and profit & loss analysis
