- Provides direct patient care, demonstrating the competencies and expertise expected of a Registered Nurse I (RN I).

Recognizes and prioritizes patient care needs based on acuity and urgency.

Communicates effectively and collaboratively with patients, families, the interdisciplinary team, management, and nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of care and customer satisfaction.

Performs nursing interventions in accordance with the nursing process.

Follows established procedures and training guidelines for specific nursing interventions.

Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and revises the plan of care as needed based on ongoing assessment.

Provides education to patients and their families and provides or coordinates follow-up visits as needed.

Performs high-level disinfection of scopes and instruments.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
