Plank Enterprises is seeking a Director of Engineering to provide strategic leadership for our proud subsidiaries, LPI, Inc. and LDPI, Inc.. Lead and mentor engineering leadership teams across two manufacturing businesses.
Own the engineering strategy, new product development process, and full product lifecycle from concept through launch and sustaining support.
Drive collaboration between Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customers to accelerate product development and ensure successful execution.
Oversee engineering resources, project priorities, budgets, and team performance.
Champion quality, regulatory compliance (including UL certifications), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner closely with executive leadership to align engineering priorities with company goals and growth strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of engineering teams.
Proven success managing multiple projects, priorities, and technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
Experience with product development, engineering operations, and regulatory compliance.
