Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously at catering events, banquets, and fine dining settings
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Support guest services by addressing inquiries, providing menu information, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Clear tables promptly, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in service areas
- Manage beverage service including wine knowledge, pouring, and replenishing drinks as needed
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and payments
- Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and maintaining hygiene throughout service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus, along with fine dining or hotel experience
- Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and beverage service including wine expertise
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions and portion control
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and food preparation procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential
