About Beyond the Box
- Beyond the Box ABA was founded by me, a BCBA who realized that accommodations are needed for therapists too. After years of struggling across a dozen ABA jobs seeking predictability, safety, transparency, and the freedom to abandon cookie-cutter programs, I am finally carving my own path.
- I want to avoid provide a hy sessions extending past 2 hours, and the typical big corporate structure. There is often a disconnect between therapy and real life. I want to make support meaningful progress, not just graduating a client because they followed an instruction with two prepositions. As an AuDHD individual, I have my own unique perspective and struggles, and I don't expect you to be perfect either. As long as we agree to try, collaborate, and prioritize the individual, we can build something incredible together.

What Your Work Will Look Like
- You will work directly with learners 1:1 for up to 80% of your weekly hours. The rest would be indirect hours that you can do from home. Indirect Work: Helping create stimuli and materials if a client cancels so you don't lose out on hours.
- You will have opportunities to run and bill for RBT assessment.
- You will have the autonomy to choose the clients you work with and support them across dynamic, real-world settings:
- School: Redirecting and prompting an individual to attend to their teacher and navigating playground social dynamics.
- Home & Community: Providing 1:1 support where life actually happens—playgrounds, grocery stores, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaboration: Joining OT and Speech sessions for behavior support and participating in clinical discussions without the child present.
Who I am looking for
- I am looking for an individual who wants to be a founding member of our company and will stick with me as we grow.
- Qualifications: Active RBT certification is highly preferred (I can provide competency re-assessments). Reliable transportation to travel across locations is required.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check (required for our preschool partnerships). I’m happy to walk you through this process!
- Core Values: Direct communication (tell me what’s working and what isn't), honesty regarding your own need for accommodations/time off, patience, and a genuine passion for progressive behavioral science.

- If you are doing your BCBA practicum, I will provide extensive training and unrestricted tasks, and decrease your direct therapy percentage in order to make time fo that.

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
