Are you an experienced commodity driver looking for a rewarding career? J&W Agri-Corp is seeking dedicated drivers to join our fleet. We specialize in transporting potatoes, beets, fertilizers, and more. With year-round regional and local loads in southern Idaho to eastern Idaho and also loads in the pacific north west, as well as local routes within Idaho, we ensure you'll always be on the move!
Job Duties:
- Transport commodities to and from manufacturing plants
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document trips using the ELD system
- Comply with FMCSA regulations
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- CDL driver job duties
Schedule:
- Standard: 6 days on, 2 days off \ very flexable
- Flexible schedules available upon request
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL (1+ Years)
- Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB radio, etc.)
- Knowledge of truck driving rules and HOS regulations
- Good driving record ( no more than 1-2 tickets in last 3 years)
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
- Valid medical card
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Potato ag experience is a plus
