The Blend Coffee & Cocktails is looking for a dependable, motivated, and positive Store Lead to help lead one of our locations!
Our Store Leads serve as the primary day-to-day leaders of their store and the main point of contact for Baristas and Shift Leads. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working alongside their team, solving problems, and taking ownership of their store.
This role is also designed as a growth opportunity for team members interested in developing into a future Store Manager position.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of your assigned location
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Baristas and Shift Leads
- Work alongside the team while providing leadership and direction
- Train and support new team members
- Coach employees and provide in-the-moment feedback
- Ensure drink quality, recipes, customer service, cleanliness, and company standards are consistently maintained
- Handle routine customer concerns and escalate larger issues when necessary
- Monitor attendance, call-outs, and staffing needs
- Coordinate coverage when a team member calls out
- Help cover open shifts when necessary, with additional incentive pay available for qualifying unscheduled shifts
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize waste
- Ensure seasonal launches, promotions, signage, and menu updates are properly executed
- Identify and communicate maintenance or equipment issues
- Communicate store needs and concerns with company leadership
- Participate in leadership meetings
- Help create a positive, supportive, and accountable team environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Dependable, organized, and proactive
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable leading and providing feedback to a team
- Able to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to take ownership and look for solutions when issues arise
- Flexible availability
- Interest in growing into a Store Manager position
Compensation & Benefits
- $16/hour + tips
- Tips currently average approximately $8/hour
- Approximately $24/hour average total earnings based on current average tips
- Additional incentive pay available for qualifying unscheduled shift coverage
- Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week
- Opportunity for advancement into a Store Manager position
