Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Assembler and Shipping Clerk to join our Wichita, KS production team. This dual role involves putting together components according to specifications and preparing finished products for shipment. No prior experience is required; we provide complete on-the-job training. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly Tasks
● Work instructions: Follow simple schematics and work instructions.
● Component Assembly: Pieces together parts using basic hand tools.
● Quality Checks: Inspect products visually to ensure products conform to requirements.
● Maintain Safety: Clean the workspace and follow safety protocols.
Shipping Tasks
● Pack Orders: Place finished goods securely into shipping containers.
● Print Labels: Generate shipping labels using computer inventory software.
● Load Trucks: Hand-load pallets and boxes onto delivery vehicles.
● Track Inventory: Log incoming raw materials and outgoing shipments.
Physical Requirements
● Lift up to 40 pounds.
● Perform repetitive hands-on work.
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Basic math and computer skills.
● Strong reliability and punctual attendance.
● Ability to work well in teams.
● Willing to learn.
